High School Mission Trip

For the last 8 years, St. Luke's high school students have been partnered with Hindman, KY and the SWAP organization.  This partnership has been successful in changing many lives - lives of students from St. Luke's and members of the Hindman community.  If you would like more information on how you can become part of this awesome partnership, contact James Ranney, the Director of Youth Ministries at St. Luke's, for more information.  We are always in need of adult volunteers to help with this trip as well!

Dates: July 23rd-29th, 2017 (Sunday – Saturday)

Total Trip Cost: $600 per student (before fundraising)

Using the efforts of volunteers, SWAP addresses sub-standard housing in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. We will be traveling to Harlan, Kentucky in July of 2017 for the 10th consecutive year! Participants will work with and for local clients "In the name of Christ,” sharing the message of God's love and building relationships that serve to enrich all involved. If you are looking to "put feet to your faith" and are interested in ministering to the communities of Appalachia for a week, take a moment to ask God what might be in store for you.
